How do I become a member?
You will be prompted to create a membership prior to the listing of your pet for sale in our pet classified or your business in our pet business directory. Alternatively you can click the “Not a member? Join now” link within the purple members login button on the top right hand side of any BuyMyPet page.

How do I pay for my ad?
BuyMyPet.com.au uses PayPal to safely process payments and protect your details. PayPal has over 100 million members worldwide and is the preferred payment method on eBay. Best of all it is free to make payments! For more information click on the PayPal logo on our homepage.

How do I update my account details?
Login to the purple members login box on the top right of the homepage. Click my details, edit what you need to and click ‘save details’.

How do I edit my ad?
Login to the purple members login box on the top right of the homepage. Click ‘My Ads’ to edit pet classified listings and ‘My Businesses’ for pet business directory listings and click the blue ‘edit ad’ button. Edit what you need to and make sure you save the changes.

I have posted my ad in the wrong category by mistake. How can I correct this?
Your ad category can only be updated by our site administrator. Please contact us to organise this.

What is the best way to ensure success of my ad?
- You have 4 images per ad. Your ad will catch more eyes with images included.
- Categorising your ad correctly will improve the likelihood of more hits
- Premium ads maintain highest priority in search result listings and are formatted to stand out
- Upgrading to a Premium ad package will highlight your chances of a higher number of hits per ad

How do I mark my ad as sold or remove it from sale?
Login to the purple members login box on the top right of the homepage. Click ‘My Ads’ to edit pet classified listings and ‘My Businesses’ for pet business directory listings and click the red ‘stop sell’ button.

I cannot find the most appropriate category to list my ad under?
If you are having difficulty finding the right category for your ad placement, contact us and we will review and create a new category if deemed necessary.

I have forgotten my password. How can I retrieve it?
Click on the “forgot password?” link under the login button, in the purple member login box, located in the top right hand corner of all BuyMyPet pages. Follow the prompt.
