Cymric (pronounced Kim-rik) is Celtic for 'Welsh'. The Cymric cat originates from the Manx breed in the Isle of Man. This cat breed has a solid, muscular body, round rump long back legs. The Cymric cats main characteristic though is that it has no tail at all. Their coat is long, though shorter than the Persian's, with a thick undercoat. Like the Manx, the Cymric is an intelligent and active cat and tends to be friendly towards it family and friends.
