The Australian Terrier is a low-set dog short statured dog, being longer than it is high! They are alert and active and tend to make good watchdogs. The Australian Terrier's coat is mostly tan with a blue / black saddle on a relatively short, harsh coat. Due to their small stature they are a great dog for suburban living due to the minimal exercise required each day to prevent boredom.
