The Basenji is the only domesticated dog breed that cannot bark, instead it lets out a yodel type cry. The Basenji possibly originates from central Africa. Their coat is short making it very easy to groom, whilst the Basenji is sometimes found cleaning themselves similar to the way a cat does.
