A very distinct dog visually, the Bull Terrier was bred originally as a fighting dog in America. Their coat is short and harsh, with the most common colour being white on a stocky, muscular body. The Bull Terriers coat colour can also be fawn, black, red or brindle. Grooming is easy and basic with a brush once a week to keep the coat in order. They are loyal to their owners and make very good guard dogs. Bull Terriers require regular exercise and have an appetite to match.
