The Cairn Terrier was bred in the Scottish Highlands. They have a medium length, shaggy, coarse, weatherproof coat. Colouring is typically grey, red or black. The Cairn Terrier may be small in stature but they make up for it with a fearless, energetic attitude. These dogs are people friendly and enjoy company. To keep the coat in good condition the Cairn Terrier requires regular grooming.
