Developed in France, the French Bulldog or "Frenchie" as it is affectionately known, it a well muscled dog being short in stature. They sport a short coat, making grooming a breeze, being usually pied (black and white), brindle or fawn in colour. Like their cousin the British Bulldog, the French Bulldog should not be exercised on hot days as their breathing can suffer when under stress. The French Bulldog is intelligent and happy by temperament, making a great companion or family pet.
