The Hungarian Kuvasz (pronounced "Koo-Vuz") was bred as a shepherd dog to guard sheep flocks. The Hungarian Kuvasz sports a thick, soft white coat which is surprisingly easy to groom. They are a highly alert breed of dog, being very wary of strangers making them a great guard dog. Regular daily exercise is required to keep the Hungarian Kuvasz fit and well.
