The Hungarian Vizsla is the national hunting dog of Hungary. Vizsla is a Hungarian word meaning "alert". With muscular limbs, the Hungarian Vizsla has a reputation as a good hunter and retriever of game. It is believed this dog breed is closely related to the German Weimaraner. The most common colour of this breed is a golden brown.
