The Irish Red and White Setter is thought to have been bred from spaniels in his native Ireland. Other than a heavier build and broader head, the Irish Red and White Setter is generally similar in appearance to theIrish Setter. The bulk of the coat is white in colour with sporadic patches of red and a unique white blaze down the middle of the head. This happy natured dog requires regular brushing of it coat.
