This old breed of gundog has a thick, harsh, wiry coat all over. The Italian Spinone has characteristic thick eyebrows that are longer than the rest of their coat. Colouring of the Italian Spinone can be in various shades of orange, brown and with or without brown speckles on a mainly white under coat. This dog breed has a loyal and affectionate temperament.
