Thoroughbred horses originate from England. They have been selectively bred almost solely to produce a fast racehorse. Thoroughbred's have a large shoulder girth, huge lung capacity and strong legs, making them an impressive racehorse. The USA is home to the world’s largest concentration of thoroughbreds. Typical Thoroughbred colouring is black, brown, chestnut and grey.
